Crockpot Turkey Breast

Super moist and full of flavor. Set it and forget it. My family always loved the crispy turkey skins on our holiday dinners. The crockpot doesn't give us that crispy skin so I made it happen anyway. I removed the skin and sliced into small pieces and fried in olive oil for a little cheat treat. So full of flavor. I took the juices from the crockpot strained them and made a gravy to serve on top as well. Perfectly moist turkey with the crispy skin and a bold flavorful gravy, who could ask for more without heating up the oven. Great meal for the fall and winter months but can be enjoyed anytime. Use the left overs for meal prep as turkey is a great lean source of protein.

Ingredients:

- 1 turkey breast (3-4 pounds)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder

- 1 Teaspoon Paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 2 peeled carrots cut into strips

-3 gloves garlic

-1 whole white onion peeled and cut into sixths

Instructions:

1. Rinse and pat dry the turkey breast and place it in the crockpot on top of cut vegetables.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Rub the mixture all over the turkey breast, making sure it is coated evenly.
4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the turkey is cooked through and tender.
5. Once cooked, remove the turkey breast from the crockpot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.

This crockpot turkey breast recipe is easy to make and packed with flavor. Serve it with your favorite sides for a delicious and satisfying meal. Enjoy!
